Regarding mass promotion, formal resolutions have also been made by the education department for primary and secondary. Instructed. The resolution of the education department made for mass promotion for Std. 1 to 8 in primary states that it is allowed to take children ahead with mass promotion till 2020-21. This will continue in the future as well and in addition to this the students will be evaluated as per the need from time to time as part of the continuous evaluation as well as the remedial work.
