Dwarkadhish Temple best known as
Jagat Mandir. Many people call this temple as Trilok Sundar Mandir. Dwarkadhish
temple is a part of the admired Chardham yatra in the Hindu religion. Temple is
dedicated to Lord Krishna, the temple is more than 2500 years old and appeals
devotees from all across the globe. The main door is known as 'Moksha
Dwara" which means Door to Salvation is the North entrance, on the other
hand, the south door is known as 'Swarga Dwara' which means Gate to Heaven. On
the backside of the door, there are 56 steps, which leads to prominent River
Gomati. Placed on the union of Gomati River and the Arabian Sea, the splendid
sandstone the temple has 5 floors, braced by 60 columns and has stunning
wonderful artifacts. The temple is also the 108th Divya Desam of Lord Vishnu.
On top of this temple is a flag with a sun and a moon on it, which is changed
three times a day. The existing structure of the temple was created around the
15th and 16th centuries.
Bileshwar is a small village in
Ranavav taluka in Porbandar in Saurashtra Gujarat and it is a place for
devotees of Shiva who visit the Bileshwar temple here. It is said that Lord Krishna
meditated on Lord Shiva and offered leaves of the Bili tree for seven months.
Lord Shiva appeared and granted him his wish of obtaining the Parijat tree in
order to please Satyabhama. Lord Krishna is said to have established Lord Shiva
her and called him Bilvadakeshvar. The locals have deep faith in Lord Shiva
here and fairs are held here in the month of Shravan and on Shivratri, which is
the right time to visit Bileshwar. Travel from here to Bagwadar on Khambhalia
Road in Porbandar and you will come across the Bagwadar Sun temple, which is
unique in that it haslnine planet temples around the main one which is
dedicated to Surya dev. 15. Mallinath Temple, Girnar
Dwaraka Rukmini Temple is
dedicated to Idol Rukmini, the partner of Lord Krishna, Rukmini Devi Temple is
a trivial temple, which is relatively popular for its beautiful artifacts and
two of its beautifully -designed panels. On one panel, there are Naratharas or
human sculptures and the other one has Gajatharas or elephant the vile. The
innermost sanctum of the temple has the idol of the Goddess along with th Lord.
It is said that the temple was built around the12th century. The partitions of
the Rukmini temple are decorated with stunning paintings, portraying various
events of Godc Rukmini with the Lord. It is round 1.5 km northwards of the
